THE LAUNCH OF THE PRIVATISATION UNIT WEBSITE 

1.     The Privatisation Unit is launching its website today. The Launch is an on-going effort of the Unit to be more transparent by availing information to as many sections of the public as possible.  

2.     The information contained in the website includes the Privatisation Programme and Policy Guidelines; the Privatisation Progress up to 2002; the Annual Reports;  remarks made by key individuals from both the public and private sector during the various fora that were hosted by the Privatisation Unit over the years; and proceedings of the dialogues on the restructuring process in Lesotho. 

3.     In addition to making information available on the restructuring process in Lesotho worldwide, the Website also has an interactive link that will enable the public to make specific requests for information or comments on the restructuring process in Lesotho.  

4.     It is hoped that the public will make use of the Website to keep up with developments in the process of restructuring state enterprises. The website was designed by a local computer company called Computer Business Solutions (CBS).
