With reference to Gazette Notice No. 67 of 17^th June 2002, giving details of approved privatisation schemes, interested investors are hereby invited by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and Privatisation Unit to participate in the long-term lease/rental of the following two (2) enterprises:

1.     Tšalitlama Vegetable Farm located at Tšalitlama, Mafeteng District, is offered for lease/rental by competitive bidding, preferably to a Mosotho or local institutional investor;

2.     Molimo Nthuse Pony Trading and Trekking Centre located at Molimo Nthuse, Maseru District, is offered for lease/rental preferably to a Mosotho tour/operator lodge owner in partnership with a foreign tour operator.

Individuals and institutions that are eligible to lease the foregoing enterprise are invited to contact the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security in order to:

1. Sign a Confidentiality Agreement
2. Fill an Application Form
3. Obtain an Information Memorandum on the Enterprise
4. Obtain Bidding Guidelines
5. Pay a Non-Refundable Application Fee of M500.00

The closing date for submission of bids is 16.30 hours on Friday 5^th March 2004. Thereafter, all bids will be evaluated according to established criteria in order to select the most competitive bidders for negotiations.
